• Yesterday the “Hellboy: Into the Silent Sea” (Studio Edition) Kickstarter launched. We’ll be talking a little more about this book later this month, so keep your eyes open.
• Crave Online has a look at the final “Baltimore” collection coming out next month. It looks like it’s going to have an absolutely fantastic sketchbook section, complete with “Li’l Baltimore.”
• Hellboy is getting a line of Pop! vinyl figures from Funko. Best of all, these will be based on the comics, not the films.
• There were a bunch of interviews following the release of Hellboy: An Assortment of Horrors: Editor Christopher Golden talked to Cemetery Dance, “Her Red Right Hand” author Paul Tremblay talked to Comicon, and “The Promised Smile” author Rio Youers talked Horror News Network.

• Right, it’s time for film news. Penelope Mitchell has joined the film as Ganeida, a witch for seen briefly in “The Wild Hunt” and “The Fury.”
• Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably heard that Ed Skrein was cast as Ben Daimio, then a week later exited the film due to whitewashing concerns, and now it appears that Daniel Dae Kim will be taking up the role.
