In very sneaky fashion, Mike Maihack somehow created one of DC’s greatest comics. The only problem is, his “Batgirl/Supergirl” webcomic isn’t actually a DC Comic, it’s just something he put together that ended up being such an astonishingly perfect distillation of the characters that it’s impossible not to love. Oh, and it’s a whole hell of a lot of fun, with each strip being one-and-dones that tie together in hilarious fashion.
Somehow I missed this, but one time only, he’s been selling prints of the comics for the past week and today is the last day they’ll be for sale. The comic is tremendously awesome, and you may never get another chance at picking them up as prints – signed by Maihack as well – so I’d recommend getting on them while the getting is good. I know I will, and I have nieces that they might just make awesome Christmas presents for.
Also worth noting, the guy is an amazing cartoonist and his book “Cleopatra in Space” is just waiting for you to check it out. Just sayin’!
