As many of our fellow news sites noted, Mark Millar started teasing yesterday on his Millarworld board that a crossover between his three Millarworld books from Icon was coming up. Not only that but Leinil Yu, the illustrator of Superior (one of the three alongside Kick-Ass and Nemesis), had put together some layouts for this upcoming crossover. It’s a beautiful page that features Nemesis in a shoot-out against Superior, Kick-Ass and Hit Girl, but I wanted to point out something a savvy Robot 6 reader noticed: the illustration is already split into three covers.
Will this book feature a massive gatefold cover? Will it be three issues long and each third of the image be one cover? Or will Millar go super 90’s throwback and make each of them equal variants to try and bolster sales?
Who the hell knows at this point, really? All I know is with Millar and Yu being involved I’m in. Superior #1 was a ton of fun, so why the hell not?
