Millar to Pitch Old Man Logan 2: Electric Boogaloo

On the running scale of “holy crap! That is awesome!”, Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s Old Man Logan was somewhere around a nine (for those that are wondering, Preacher would be a 10 and JMS’ new Wonder Woman origin would be a one). I mean, it was dystopian future in which the super villains had won, Hawkeye was a blind arms dealer (of sorts), and Wolverine was a broken down old man who went with him on a road trip to try and earn money to save his family.

What ended up coming out of it was perhaps the preeminent Wolverine story ever, telling a touching and badass tale that was beautifully illustrated by one of the best in the business.

Now it sounds like Mark Millar is plotting his sequel and preparing a pitch to the Marvel overlords. Granted, they still have not said yes yet, but come on now, this book sold like hotcakes and was a huge boon to the company as a whole. Why wouldn’t they say yes?

More on it as we get it, but this could be the beginning of another incredible book by Millar/McNiven (or a return to form depending on your opinion of Nemesis).
