Unveiled in their newsletter, Mondo is showing off the latest of their Universal Monster series — this time with MC Favorite and comic artist extraordinaire Francesco Francavilla’s poster for the sci-fi classic, This Island Earth.
Hand numbered and limited to 325 copies, the 24″x36″ screen print runs for $45 and will be released sporadically via a Twitter announcement tomorrow. They sell out in seconds, but this would make an amazing addition to any sci-fi lovers home.
Honestly, I can’t even remember the last time I saw this movie, but I have a definite soft spot for cheesy old school sci-fi movies, and this representation of the mutant from Metaluna is pretty damn awesome. So awesome it got its own news post.
