Last year around this time, “Star Wars: Tales From the Far, Far Away” debuted, with two stories set in the Star Wars universe, one focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi, and one on Boba Fett. We told you that the anthology, put together by writers Michael Moreci and Tim Daniel, would be returning later this year, but now the release is imminent. Tomorrow, a mere 72 hours before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story debuts, the second installment drops.
Featuring art from John Broglia, Kendall Goode, Morgan Luthi, Phillip Sevy, K.R. Whalen, Drew Zucker, and Mehdi Cheggour, the anthology is quite packed this year, featuring six new stories. As you can see above, the stories (and the two from last year’s piece, which is still available for download
here) are set across the
Star Wars timeline, with one pre-dating
Episode I: The Phantom Menace and two taking place directly before the events of
Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Moreci and Daniel have provided Multiversity with an
exclusive look at some of the art for the stories, both as title cards and with the classic
Star Wars crawl, as well as some really fun faux-collector’s cards, which will bring back pangs of nostalgia to anyone who collected such things in their childhood. A special thanks to Michael and Tim for sending this all over, so enjoy all the art, and check back tomorrow for a link to the PDF.
