If there’s one thing to say about comic fans, it’s that when they’re big enough fans of something they will collaborate and make awesome things. (Not the best sentence I’ve ever written, but you get it.) Deviant Art user pspynett posted the above Mouse Guard fan video, which takes Gwendolyn from Mouse Guard and, in a scene based from Winter 1152, pits her against a not-so-friendly owl in a wonderfully animated fight for her life.
Mouse Guard is an MC favorite, and the title is perhaps one of the easiest books to get into and enjoy. If this video doesn’t spark your interest, I’m not entirely sure what will… or even why it doesn’t. However, if you like the video, definitely check out the comics. It’s just as good, if not better.
