Yes, you read that right. In an upcoming episode of Arthur, the author of Sandman himself will make an aardvarkian cameo on the PBS kids show on October 11th.

According to our source over at Wired’s Geekdad, Gaiman will appear in “an episode called “Falafelosophy,” inspiring one of the kids who’s trying her hand at writing and illustrating a graphic novel. It’s paired with what sounds like a suitable companion story, “Tales of the Grotesquely Grim Bunny,” about changes on the shelves at the local comic shop.” Where this inspiration came from, but I’m not entirely sure. Either way, it’s surely an interesting place for the comic creator to make a cameo.

But hey, at the very least it might make young kids want to read Sandman. Or something. Right?

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
