Yeah, you read that right! Well… kind of, anyway. For those not in the know, The Clash At Demonhead is the band featured prominently in Scott Pilgrim, mainly for the fact that the lead singer is Scott Pilgrim’s dubious ex, and the bass player is one of the boys Scott has to battle in order to win Ramona’s hand. And as the movie comes close, we’re all sort of wondering exactly how the musical element of Scott Pilgrim (which also features Scott’s band Sex Bob-Omb) is going to play out, given that Bryan Lee O’ Malley had tabbed out one of the songs in the book.
Well, now we know! The popular band Metric are recording the tracks for the Clash at Demonhead, and they have posted one of the songs online! The song is called “Black Sheep,” and the only way you can hear it is by going to Metric’s Facebook page and becoming a fan. I’ve made it easy for you: just click here.
Never the less, it’s a cool song. On it’s own it’s pretty listenable in my book, and I bet when in the actual movie it’s going to be amazing. Needless to say, when going to lengths such as this to provide accuracy, it’s probably a good guess that Scott Pilgrim could be the best comic book movie of all time.
