New Information Pops Up In Regards To Darabont Exiting The Walking Dead

According to a new article from the Hollywood Reporter, it seems that Frank Darabont was actually fired from the show. According to off the record reports, the footage that Darabont had filmed was deemed “unusable”, leading to a clash between AMC and Darabont (which seems to be a recurring trend, given the controversy surrounding the delayed release of the new season of Mad Men).

It’s also posited that Darabont never fully adapted to the different style of filming that television requires over movies, with off the record anonymous comments commenting that Darabont was essentially difficult to work with. On that same length, however, another anonymous source has stated the exact opposite, that everyone loves working with Frank, and that things are going to be difficult without him.

Everything is up in the air at the moment, but if we learn more we’ll let you know.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
