Today saw the release of a new trailer for the much anticipated fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and one that is blowing the socks off of fans of the series and video games alike.
Within its 3 minutes and 41 seconds, they show battles between many very famous Marvel and Capcom characters. While the matchups between Ryu/Wolverine, Morrigan/Iron Man and Chris Redfield vs. Hulk are all very entertaining, the highlight of this trailer has to be the showdown between Deadpool and Dante of Devil May Cry fame. These two are remarkably well matched characters, and their fight was in my opinion the most entertaining.
We’re even given the reveal of the game’s villain at the end, as Dormammu descends upon New York City while these eight heroes face off. In the words of Agent M, this trailer is nearly 4 minutes of epic epicness and one that has earned praise from all kinds of industry analysts, including IGN and many others. Look for more as all of the details are revealed, and enjoy the trailer above.
