Marvel made it pretty clear with ther Big Shot initiative that Daredevil and the Punisher were both getting new ongoings. The Punisher, whose had a very odd set of ongoings in the past five years (with Punisher: War Journal diving into Punisher, which became FrankenCastle, and is now currently a five issue mini), but Marvel is committed to the character and his solo adventures in his dark corner of the Marvel U. While we don’t know what team will be taking the reigns (assumedly Remender is too busy in the X-Universe to do Punisher again?), it’ll be announced this weekend.
