ComiXology has announced a second season for two of its original hit series, “Elephantmen” and “Ask for Mercy.” Both titles are written by Richard Starkings and produced by the Starkings founded Comicraft.

“Elephantmen 2261 Season Two: The Pentalion Job” #1 kick-starts the next adventure in the long-running science-fiction series started by Starkings in 2006 at Image Comics. The new adventure, illustrated by Axel Medellin (“Elephantmen: The Death of Shorty”), will be a 4-issue limited series following an ex-con on a mission to steal three giant robotic exo-suits called Pentalians. The first issue is available now for members of Prime Reading, Kindle Unlimited, and comiXology Unlimited.

The second season of “Ask for Mercy” will launch May 8th with “Ask for Mercy Season 2: Ask for Budgie One-Shot.” The one-shot is illustrated by Abigail Jill Harding, who illustrated the first “Ask for Mercy” series, and follows the breakout star of the first season, Budgie, as he searches for his origins. The events in this issue will lead directly into the events of the 5-issue series “Ask for Mercy Season Two: The Center of Everything That Is,” which will begin later this summer and see Kasa take Mercy, Ratmir, and Budgie on an adventure where the course of history is at stake.
