New York Comic-Con: We’ll Be There! Let’s Hang Out!

Multiversity is going to New York! And we’re bringing beards and our love of cats with us!

Seriously though – myself (Matthew Meylikhov) and fellow Spoiler Alert (you know, that audio podcast we have?) co-host Joshua Mocle will be at New York Comic Con this year! We’ll be attending panels, hosting some interviews (we’d tell you with you, but we want to surprise you), and hopefully having a generally sunnier disposition than the last time we went to a convention. By the time you read this, Mocle and I will most likely be on a bus playing with our iPads and ranting about stupid things while other people try to sleep.

Of course, we also want to see you! Yes you! Mocle and I have plans (wicked plans!), and they could possibly maybe involve you. Would you like to possibly maybe appear on the site with us? If so, you should keep your eyes open! We’ll be running around the convention hall (a lot, honestly – our schedule is crazy/beautiful), but if you should happen to spy either of our smiling faces, please stop us and force us to say hello. We won’t bite (well, I won’t – I don’t like to make promises for Mocle I can’t keep).

And if that isn’t good for you, we both have Twitter accounts that I can guarantee you we’ll be updating throughout the day with pictures and shenanigans. You can find me at @mattisnotarobot and Mocle is @anarchoburrito. Follow us! Tweet at us! We’ll try and respond.

Otherwise, Mocle and I will return with some special videos with some super creators next week – and perhaps, if you’re lucky, we’ll figure out how to get a cat involved.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
