Ok, maybe not. But it’s looking likely, isn’t it?
The above teaser, just released by DC, seems to imply that there are plans to do something in order to greatly affect Nightwing. That had been the rumor anyway, and the blood draining out of the Nightwing logo does certainly seem to nod towards a death. It could be a spiritual death of some kind, but I get the impression that DC just wants to kill somebody. First it was John Stewart but fans and Rich Johnston got in the way. Now it looks like Nightwing, who DiDio wanted to have killed back in “Infinite Crisis,” looks to be in the cross-hairs again. There are too many Robins anyway; might as well kill one of ’em off.
Which I’m sure will go over real well. Sound off, Grayson fans!
