It sold out almost instantaneously at NYCC (with yours truly only barely getting a copy — #98 out of 100). It was our Pick of the Week, earning an 8.9 from our reviewer Michelle White, who calls it “an intriguing as well as a visually interesting first issue.” It’s the comic IGN says “out-loop’s Looper.” It has received similar praise from Read Comic Books, Comic Bastards, Comic Book Resources and more. I don’t know about you guys, but pretty much everyone on my Twitter feed is talking about how ace this comic is — because it is 100% aces.
And while it isn’t being widely reported yet (that is to say, we don’t have a press release), it looks like “Comeback” #1 has officially sold out on a distributor level, as reported by The Dragon, a retailer in Ontario.
You’re going to want to go get this issue now, I’d imagine. Quick, now! A second printing is assuredly on the way, but who doesn’t love a good collector’s item?
