Announced this weekend at NYCC, it looks like Any Diggle is going to have another book through Dynamite co-written with his wife Angela Cruickshank and illustrated by Ben Oliver.

Titled “Control” (which is a really good name for a comic, if you ask me), the book will be a dark and gritty noir series in the style of a police procedural, but with an apparent Wire-esque look at the bureaucracy of the  Washington DC police department amidst a conspiracy story.

Given Diggle’s history with crime books in comics so far it seems like a safe bet that this will be a great series, and teaming up with his wife to share the writing responsibilities should definitely be very interesting. Plus, anything with Ben Oliver art is something we need to have.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
