Indie comic publisher Comix Tribe, home to the powerhouse independent comics “Scam” and “The Red Ten”, is coming to NYCC and they’re bringing a whole mess of trouble with them. That is to say, if trouble to you means awesome comics that you have to push everyone out of your way to find and pick up first.

ComixTribe’s big exclusive offering this year is a special edition of their hit series “Scam,” featuring stories straight out of the upcoming “SCAMthology.” Entitled “SCAM Pint,” the book comes with three stories and is limited to 100 copies.

Oh, and it comes with an exclusive pint glass. FOR BEER!

They’ve also provided a preview of one of the stories from “Scam PINT” from John Lees and Alex Cormack entitled “Hammered.” Take a look:

Comix Tribe will also be announcing four new books, one for every day of the con, to kick off their Second Wave. Keep your eyes peeled for those.

My Name Is Pint
“The rest of the crew would never guess what their resident party animal, Pint, does with his free time. Sometimes the scammer is actually scamming himself.”

HAMMERED
“Pint has a very unique gift: the more alcohol he drinks, the stronger, faster and more durable he gets. But when he’s given a near-impossible mission, just how much booze is he willing to chug to get the job done? And just how much of it will he remember in the morning?”
