Just announced over at CBR, it looks like the dream team of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming are pairing up for another collaboration on Marvel’s creator-owned imprint of Icon. This time, it’s for an all-ages book called “Takio.” This book is about two sisters who have to work together as the world’s first superpowers after they accidentally gain powers, but also have to learn to not constantly fight amongst themselves and still be home by 6 because they don’t want their over-protective mother to figure out their secret.

Over at CBR, Bendis discussed the book at length, going into more depth about the book and sharing that it’s likely the book will be released sort of like what Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips do with Incognito and Criminal – alternating arcs, as Takio and Powers will alternate their release schedules.

He also shared that his daughter Olivia contributed a few big ideas to the equation, and that the book will be taking place in his current hometown of Portland, Oregon.
