We had seen the teaser already – Wolverine hanging out with Quentin Quire on a book written by Brian Wood – and we had felt the excitement. Now we know what it is: X-Men: Alpha and Omega.
This five issue mini-series issue will be illustrated by Mark Brooks and Roland Boschi, and it will find Wolverine and Quentin Quire squaring off as the latter develops ideas of taking over the school again (although this time I somehow he will think Magneto is any sort of right). It’s going to be a sister book to Jason Aaron’s Wolverine & the X-Men, and it will be one to watch because of a simple fact: Brian Wood + Quentin Quire + Wolverine = awesome.
Look for this book to start in January.
