Lately, a lot of people have been wondering who was going to be taking over “X-Men Legacy” after Mike Carey. He’s been running that ship for a long, long time, but now we know who will be taking over with the title’s Point One issue: Christos Gage.
Writer Gage and artist David Baldeon will be taking over the book, and the interview iFanboy put together with Gage reveals a lot of fun details about the book. They include:
– Gage’s team will feature standards in Rogue, Gambit, Frenzy and Rachel Standards as well as new characters to the book in Cannonball, Husk and Iceman, but they will intermittently feature others like Wolverine, Beast and other teachers from Westchester
– Former Magneto Acolyte and all around bad dude Exodus will be showing up
– It will have a similar tone to Avengers Academy, except it will focus on the teachers instead
Great news for all I think – this book is an exciting one to watch, and it’s good to know Carey’s legacy will continue on in good hands.
