Previously, we had shared that Brian Wood and Becky Cloonan were going to be working on a Dark Horse book together and Bleeding Cool furthered that by saying it was true and it would be a new Conan book. Turns out Rich was right (as per usual), as Dark Horse announced this morning at Diamond Comics’ retailer breakfast that Wood and Cloonan were going to be adapting the “Queen of the Black Coast” story for release in February of the coming year.

Not only that, but it was confirmed that Wood’s other new Dark Horse effort with Kristian Donaldson, titled “The Massive,” will first launching in Dark Horse Presents before transitioning into its own ongoing series. Wood suggested it as a blend of his Vertigo books DMZ and Northlanders (now that will be a sight to be seen) and as a book that will run for a long time.

To all of that news, Multiversity Comics has this to say: we’re down. More Brian Wood. More Becky Cloonan. Yes please.
