With the recent announcement that John Rozum was leaving Static Shock, the new 52 book that restarts the story of his Milestone Comics character, many wondered what was next for the book. Now we know – Marc Bernadin (The Highwaymen) will be taking over as co-writer of the book with artist Scott McDaniel come issue seven.
Bernadin is a talented writer with a diverse history (he used to be a senior editor for Entertainment Weekly), and someone who will likely continue the spirit of what Rozum wanted to accomplish on the book very well. Of course, we won’t find out for a while (the book just released issue two after all), but still, he’s a strong creator with the potential to improve the fortunes of this book with his arrival.
