This weekend at NYCC, one thing that came up over and over was the idea of a book about another type of Lanterns to come out of the Green Lantern realm. Well, today at the DC Town Hall meeting it was strongly insinuated by Dan Didio that a Red Lantern book would be coming soon.
“If there were one, I’d love to see it in the first quarter of next year,” DiDio said.
While I’m a little skeptical of how strong a book this could be given the rather angry disposition of this particular Lantern set (what exactly is their point?), given their relation to the happenings in Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors, I’d say that this book could work. Not only that, but if you’re going to trust anyone in the DCU, it would be the architects of the Green Lantern world.
