While this information was previously announced elsewhere, more details are out on the upcoming graphic novel from Vertigo Comics, “Get Jiro!” from Anthony Bourdain (chef and badass extraordinaire). The OGN will be co-written by Bourdain’s friend and novelist Joel Rose (The Blackest Bird) and illustrated by Heavy Metal contributor Langdon Foss, and will be a “futuristic action thriller set in a world where food and the secrets of its preparation are the source of all power, leading master chefs to fight over a mysterious sushi chef named Jiro.”
Which sounds pretty much AMAZING in my mind.
This book will be released sometime in 2011. Look for more on this when previews start coming out and a release date is finalized.
