Those of you that have seen the Thor film may have noticed some nice easter eggs throughout the film, including a set of items hidden in Odin’s vault that can only be seen for a few seconds at a time. Now, thanks to the Thor art book, we get a look at all the items hidden in Odin’s vault.
So what do we have? From left to right, we have the Eternal Flame, the Orb of Agamotto, the Tablet of Life And Time, the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Warlock’s Eye. Most of the items are rather stereotypical Asgardian items, but the Infinity Gauntlet is perhaps the standout item on the list considering that it is mostly related to the Cosmic Marvel U and Thanos. It’s also rumored that the Infinity Gauntlet is going to be in the Avengers, placed somewhere to cause trouble by Odin himself, so having it hidden in the background of Thor is a fairly interesting move on Marvel’s behalf.
Marvel has been doing a great job with their film universe so far, and all these little treats for the fans are treats indeed. It’ll be interesting to see if these items play out in the future films at all.
