A lot of people – meaning the majority of the comic reading public and a decent amount of crossover comic readers – have been wondering when Bryan Lee O’Malley was going to finish his follow-up to the “Scott Pilgrim” series. It had been a few years since that series had wrapped in incredible fashion, and since then we’ve gotten a Scott Pilgrim film and roughly 4.5 million truly bizarre tweets from O’Malley. No “Seconds” though, the book that was destined to be his follow-up.
Now, it looks like we will get what we desire, as O’Malley tweeted that inks finished last night, with colors and letters coming next in time for what should be a July 2014 release from Villard:
this is hard to believe but we finished inking 'Seconds' last night and the colors & letters should be wrapped up soon. July 2014 release! ✨

There haven’t been a ton of details about “Seconds” quite yet (save for a bit he shared with Random House Canada’s website), but I can tell you one thing is for certain: this is one of the books we are most highly anticipating in 2014.
