The New York Daily News “exclusively” revealed that Peter Parker will be returning from the dead in a new “The Amazing Spider-Man” #1 from Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos. They spoke with Slott about the return, as he shared that one of the very few people who knew for sure (not just guessed because they are comic fans) that Parker would be returning was the current film Spider-Man Andrew Garfield himself.
How Peter comes back and what will be waiting for him when he returns is uncertain, but Slott does hint that things won’t be exactly what they seem upon his return.
“We’ve gone over 30 issues without Peter Parker, so when we let him out of that box and he gets to put on that costume again and he gets to swing through the sky, it’s going to be the greatest feeling,” says Slott.
“But there’s a twist. There’s always a twist.”
More on this as we get it, but it’s good that this cat is out of its bag the way it was supposed to be.
