With the recent Wolverine and Jubilee mini-series, I became a big fan of Phil Noto’s art. I’d been exposed to it previously, but something about that mini-series brought a perfect match in subject and artist, and made me realize that this guy is one hell of a talent.
Recently I took a look at his Tumblr page, and I have to say that is a fantastic collection of art. Noto brings to life subjects as diverse as Star Wars, theoretical airplane scenarios, Travis Bickle of the Rebel Alliance, and as you can see above, a Wolverine family portrait that feature X-23 and Jubilee. All awesome, all of the time. If you’re not one of the 10,000 plus subscribers he has at his Tumblr page, I suggest checking it out – you never know what is going to come next.
