Saw this on the interwebs and thought it was worth showing. Below is the box art for the upcoming Marvel animated film, Planet Hulk. The reason this is worth showing is because the box art was done by none other than Alex Ross, who I believe is one of the most talented men in the industry. Heck, I’d be willing to bet that just about anyone who is a comic book fan would say that. So how does it look?

Pretty damn great, if you ask me! I would be willing to guess that this is the box art for only the single disc edition of the movie. I’m willing to bet that there is a two-disc edition and it will look slightly different, but of course I can not confirm this. Either way, not bad at all!

Planet Hulk tells the story of the Hulk, exiled from Earth after being deemed to great a threat by the Illuminati, surviving his death trap of a rocket only to land on a foreign and save planet known as Sakarr. The Hulk is formed into a gladiatorial ring to fight for his life, and the events in the original Planet Hulk saga eventually lead to World War Hulk. The movie is released February 2nd, 2010. Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
