Is this a scoop? Possibly maybe? I have 0 confirmation of this news anywhere, so it’s all just a possibility at the moment.

It appears that the creative team of New Mutants might have leaked. On the comic ordering site Heavy Ink, the reported creative team behind the upcoming New Mutants #25 is listed as none other than Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, with art by Leandro Fernandez. The issue will supposedly feature covers by Arthur Adams as well as Marko Djurdjevic for a $3.99 price point to come out May 11th. The solicit information? Classified.

So New Mutants might be coming to you from DnA. If so, that might make them two of the busiest people on the planet, with work for IDW with their Infestation “event” thing, DC and a Flashpoint mini or two (maybe), BOOM! and the Soldier Zero ongoing, and a Marvel ongoing as well as a mini tied into an ongoing saga! Phew. I’m sure another ongoing is just what the doctor ordered.

    Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
