“Postal” fans will get to return to Eden this July, when writers Matt Hawkins and Bryan Hill join with artist Raffaele Ienco to launch the series’s first sequel miniseries, “Postal: Deliverance.”

The Beat broke the news that Hill and Hawkins will be returning to the property they co-created in 2015, without original “Postal” artist Issac Goodheart (who is currently working on DC Ink’s “Under the Moon: A Catwoman Tale”). Oncoming artist Ienco, who illustrated last year’s one-shots “Postal: Mark” and “Postal: Laura,” will provide both lines and colors on the new series, and letterer Troy Peteri will complete the creative team.

If you missed out on “Postal”‘s first run, you might not know that the book follows the community of Eden, Wyoming, a town where former convicts flee to when they need to hide out or assume new identities. “Postal: Deliverance” will seemingly pick up right where “Postal”‘s original 25 issue run left off, following Eden’s former mailman, Mark, as he takes on his new role as the town’s mayor.

A “Postal” TV series is also still in development at Hulu, though nothing new has been announced since Hulu acquired the adaptation rights in 2016. For now, “Postal: Deliverance” will have to satisfy “Postal” fans’ urge to see more of Eden. You can learn a little more about the series, and see covers for “Postal: Deliverance”‘s first three issues, by clicking over to The Beat.
