You know what people love? Batman. You know what a lot of Batman fans love? The Joker. You know what people that love the Joker love? Joker things they can own.

Well, then. Good news for you lot, supposedly!

After the E3 trailer revealed that Arkham Origins, the upcoming Batman videogame prequel, would in fact once again feature the Clown Prince of Crime in addition to main bad guy Black Mask and his hired goons in addition to Black Mask, Deadshot and Deathstroke. While not voiced by Mark Hammil (Troy Baker provides the voice, who recently did Booker in the fantastic Bioshock Infinite), fans are of course excited to get a look at the early days of Batman and Joker’s relationship in a videogame where you can punch the Joker when you’re done watching cut scenes.

With that in mind, an image reportedly showing what the collectors edition of the Arkham Origins special edition will entail has leaked online, showing the following as your bounty:

The cream of the crop here being the Joker/Batman statue. I’m not sure extra DLC or an art book would make most fans squee? It’s possible.

It’s a bit strange for a game that has focused so heavily in its PR on the Deathstroke v Batman fight or the Black Mask antagonism to have a Joker statue, it also makes sense that fans would rather have a new Batman v Joker statue in their homes than one with either of the other villains. Because, you know, everybody loves that freakin’ clown.

Arkham Origins debuts in October. Watch the E3 trailer below:

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
