Somehow a book with art from Todd McFarlane, Niko Henrichon, Cameron Stewart, Tommy Lee Edwards, Bernard Chang and more along with colors from Dave Stewart is coming out April 13th and I hadn’t heard of it until earlier this week. That is a massively talented list of artists, and they’ll all be getting together for Prince Of Persia: Before the Sandstorm. This title will be a collection of short stories written by the creator of the game series of the same name, Jordan Mechner, and will be released by Disney Press for just $9.99. I may actually get this title, if only because it features some of my favorite artists like Henrichon, Stewart and Edwards (whose work from the book is featured below to the left).
Strangely enough, Dynamite Entertainment will then be releasing the graphic novel in serialized issue format in June according to Bleeding Cool. Why exactly they would release it as a graphic novel and then in issue form is unknown – it’s obviously a bit backwards given how things are normally done. Still, it will be four issues at $3.99 a pop in case you only wanted the Henrichon issue or the Stewart issue, or something of that sort.
