True story. Just tweeted by Jeff Lemire, as you can see above, “American Vampire” artist Rafael Albuquerque will be taking over as the artist of “Animal Man.” Let that sink in: Albuquerque on “Animal Man.” As someone who actually dropped the book because I didn’t appreciate the art – it isn’t bad, just not to my taste – the idea of Albuquerque (one of the best in the biz) joining is absolutely huge.
More on this as we get it, but holy crap, how about them apples? That’s a dream pairing of creators, and something we had seen teased previously. Great to see it is on such a fitting title.
