“6 Gun Gorilla” blasts its way into comic shops this very week from BOOM! Studios, Si Spurrier and Jeff Stokely all wrapped up in a fantastic cover from the excessively talented Ramón Pérez. It’s a fun debut, exactly the match of humor and ethos as you’d expect from a guy like Spurrier with the aid of Stokely’s art at his side, and it probably deserves to go home with you on your way back from the shop.

So why not look ahead into the future of “6 Gun Gorilla,” to see if still looks as good in September?

“6 Gun Gorilla” #1 is out tomorrow. “6 Gun Gorilla” #4 arrives in stores in September.

Following their harrowing confrontation with Auchenbran’s corpse army, Six-Gun Gorilla and Blue retreat into the wilderness in hopes of finding the natives of the Blister — weird, abstract creatures that may hold the key to Blue’s ultimate quest to return the “locket”…

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
