Last week was the unofficial debut of “Sam Humphries Week”, with the announcement of two new ongoings as well as the debut of a series of character designs for his upcoming BOOM! Studios mini Fanboys vs Zombies right here at Multiversity.
Today we continue sharing with you exclusive first looks at the upcoming BOOM! series Fanboy vs Zombies by Humphries and Jerry Gaylord. The above cover is by Humberto Ramos, one of the artists of the current Amazing Spider-Man and the man behind the character designs we previously showed you, and it features (what I can only assume is) a quirky homage to the famous cover of Giant-Size X-Men #1.
Take a look at Khary Randolph’s cover to the second issue (out in May) featuring — I kid you not — “Spock” with an Mk 2 Lancer Assault Rifle after the cut, as well as the solicit information for the first issue (out in April).
