SDCC ’19: Random House Graphic Announce Four OGNs for 2020 Launch

The graphic novel imprint for Random House Children’s Books, Random House Graphic, has finally announced its 2020 launch line-up of four new graphic novels: two middle-grade books, a young adult graphic novel, and a chapter book graphic novel.

The first book to be released next year, a middle-grade book titled “The Runaway Princess,” is written and illustrated by Johan Troianoski and follows a young princess who runs away from her boring castle to find adventure, make friends, and explore the fantastical world around her. It is slated for release January 21, 2020.

Following that, Laura Knetzger will release her chapter book graphic novel called “Bug Boys” on February 11th. This book follows two bugs as they “learn about friendship and the science of the world around them.”

On March 3rd, Thom Pico and Karensac will release their middle-grade book called “Aster and the Accidental Magic.” The book follows a young girl who discovers magic in her new home in the middle of nowhere.

Finally, on April 14th, Jessi Zabarsky will release “Witchlight.” The book is described as “a queer YA fantasy romance, filled with friendship, family, falling in love and dealing with the hardest bits of your past.”
