Dynamite and Archie Comics Crossover “Red Sonja and Vampirella Meet Betty and Veronica” Announced

Riverdale’s leading ladies are teaming up with the Women of Dynamite in a newly announced crossover comic from Dynamite and Archie Comics. 

“Red Sonja and Vampirella Meet Betty and Veronica” comes from writer Amy Chu (“Red Sonja,” “KISS: The End,” “Poison Ivy”) and artist Maria Laura Sanapo (“DC Comics Bombshells,” “Charmed”). According to Dyanmite, “Red Sonja and Vampirella Meet Betty and Veronica” brings the famous vampire hunter and sword-wielding barbarian to Riverdale to help solve a mysterious spree of supernatural killings at Riverdale High.

“We’ve wanted to play in the sandbox with the Dynamite gang for some time, and I’m really happy the stars aligned on this one,” said Archie Comics Co-President Alex Segura. “Amy Chu’s story is a fun, energized romp that brings together our iconic duo of Betty and Veronica with Vampi and Red Sonja. Four badass ladies join forces for a crossover you won’t forget. What more could you want?”

The first issue of “Red Sonja and Vampirella Meet Betty and Veronica” will hit shelves and digital platforms this May. The first issue will feature covers by Fay Dalton (“James Bond: Casino Royale”), Francesco Francavilla (“Afterlife with Archie”), Robert Hack (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Laura Braga (“Harley & Ivy Meet Betty & Veronica”), Paulina Ganucheau (“Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt”), and Dan Parent (“Archie”).
