And the last Marvel teaser of the week goes to… iFanboy!
Rounding out this week’s set of teases for Marvel’s new Now! initiative (which included new Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Deadpool books), we now know who is taking the creative ship on “Captain America” from Ed Brubaker: Rick Remender. Joining him on art? John Romita Jr.
Romita Jr’s art is a classic, so it’ll be interesting to see him hop over to the Sentinel of Liberty full time (or, as full time as any artist on a Marvel book is before fill-ins and guest artists), but Remender is the one who has the more daunting shoes to fill. Cap has been written by Brubaker since 2004, and those are quite sizable shoes to fill. It’ll be interesting to see what Remender does with the character, but chances are it’ll definitely be something different.
