One of our favorite new creator-owned books at Dark Horse is Steve Parkhouse and Pete Hogan’s “Resident Alien,” the story of an alien named Harry stranded on our planet and acting as a small town doctor, keeping his identity a secret and attempting to solve a murder mystery at the same time. It’s a wonderful little tale, and we’d heard that the intention was to have the book be an ongoing released over time in volumes, similar to what Mignola does with “Hellboy” and “BPRD.”

Today we have confirmation of the continued adventures of Harry the alien. From the back of this week’s “Resident Alien” #3,

We’ll see you in the pages of Dark Horse Presents this fall, when Harry is thrust into his next adventure and his next miniseries begins! Don’t forget to check out DarkHorse.com for upcoming Resident Alien Volume 2: The Suicide Blonde announcements!

This isn’t the “official” announcement of this or anything, but either way we’re stoked to get more in the series. “Resident Alien” #3 is in stores today, for those of you who have yet to check it out yet and are interested in perhaps reading the series as a whole.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
