Coming at you from the X-Panel at NYCC, the second new teaser for Marvel NOW! Phase Two is “Wrath,” featuring a single name: Richard Isanove.

Many of you probably don’t recognize the name, but you should. An accomplished colorist, you’ll probably recognize Richard Isanove from the Dark Tower comics Marvel has done, as he illustrated the back-ups for those books or any number of times that he’s collaborated with Adam and Andy Kubert, Jae Lee and Joe Quesada, and he’s actually quite a talented illustrator.

As for the blue with a hint of gold, that certainly is resonant with X-Fans … but I can think of one blue character in particular who might be upset right now.

And, before anyone asks, yes I obviously mean Maggott.

I don’t know about you, but I’m very interested to see what this is.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
