Have you ever what would happen if the events of Rocky IV and Iron Man 2 somehow weaved together, if only they also starred Vanilla Ice, the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles, Johnny Five from the Short Circuit movies, Zangief from Street Fighter, and a whole slew of others? Of course you have…who hasn’t? Ivan Drago and Whiplash seem like natural adversaries for the all American duo of Rocky Balboa and Tony Stark, and you can now finally realize the potential of this filmic mashup of epic proportions thanks to the powers of YouTube, as you can see below.
While Iron Man IV will surely never be realized in the way it is in this video, you can always watch it over and over again and fill in the spaces in between. Would we still have an oddly romantic flashback montage featuring Rock and Apollo, except with triple agent Natasha Romanov running by and sneaking doubt into the duo’s minds? Perhaps a random infusion of Stark Tech into the Wolverines resistance against the Russians in Red Dawn? There are just so many places you could go with this.
I have to say, I’m a little disappointed in no catchy second name to go after the title. So many opportunities to be realized there. Not even a minimal effort like Iron Man IV: Cold War. How is that not on the table at the very least? Alas…not all YouTube videos can be perfect.
