-Terry Moore (“Echo,” “Motor Girl”) announced that he will be reviving “Rachel Rising,” his cult classic horror series. The comic which focused on a resurrected woman named Rachel who finds herself in Masson, a hotbed of supernatural intrigue and suspense. Moore said during a panel at San Diego Comic Con that he had left the series “unfinished” and that after a year long revival of “Strangers in Paradise” for that series 25th anniversary in 2018 he would be returning to the series.

– In an interview released yesterday author Neil Gaiman (“Coraline,” “Sandman”) revealed some possible plot elements for season two of American Gods. In the interview he said the second season will feature Egyptian gods trapped in an empty Cairo (no not that one: Cairo, IL), a trip to the surrealist tourist attraction The House of the Rock, and a sequence which Gaiman had to cut from the book which was set during World War II in a Japanese internment camp.

– Z2 comics announced “The Wonderful World of Perfecto: With Paul Oakenfold and Friends” the “not-quite-true” semi-autobiographical story of DJ Paul Oakenfold, the DJ/music producer who has defined the modern club culture. The book will feature art from Tyler Boss (“4 Kids Walk Into a Bank,” “Lazarus”), Chris Hunt (“Carver,” “Five Ghosts”), Ian McGinty (“Adventure Time,” “Bravest Warriors”) and Koren Shadmi (“The Abaddon,” “Love Addict”). They will each illustrate a different portion of Oakenfold’s life. The book is a celebration of Oakenfold’s trip to Ibiza, Spain 30 years ago and will feature a soundtrack from Oakenfold. The graphic novel will be available November 21.

– Screenwriter Jack Thorne (The Last Panthers, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) has been tapped to rewrite portions of the Star Wars Episode IX script. The extent of the rewrites is unclear but the original script was written by the film’s director Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, Safety Not Guranteed), who brought Thorne in on the project, along with his writing partner Derek Connolly (Saftey Not Guranteed, Kong: Skull Island). The film hopes to begin shooting January 2018. Star Wars Episode VII: The Last Jedi, which is directed and written by Rian Johnson (Looper, Brick) will premiere December 15, 2017.

– The CW has revealed the dates for the annual Arrowverse crossover. The four-episode crossover will begin Monday November 27 with Supergirl then Arrow and then will be continued on Tuesday November 28 with episodes of Flash and Legends of Tomorrow respectively. Last years crossover “Invasion!” led to record ratings for the four shows and the most successful week in the history of the CW.
