The Rundown: “Constantine” Comes to TV, “Thor: The Dark World” Gets a New Poster, and more

– DC has gotten fully into the TV show making business, as they and Warner Bros. have teamed up to bring Constantine to NBC. Amongst others, “Man of Steel” writer David S. Goyer will be writing and executive producing, and it will presumably be bringing a lighter take on the character to life like in the Keanu Reeves film, and less like the long-running Vertigo series “Hellblazer.”

– Another new “Thor: The Dark World” poster has arrived, and this one gets us a better look at Malekith and his Dark Elf minions. I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty damn excited for this movie.

– I thought this was really cool: apparently the absolutely phenomenal “Sex Criminals” #1 from Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky had higher orders than Fraction and Aja’s “Hawkeye” #1. Not entirely surprising, as Image has been pushing it a lot and I’d wager they made it returnable, but still, impressive.

– Remember that “Sex Criminals” release party I mentioned yesterday? Comics Alliance has a few pictures of it, and they are pretty amazing. Chip Zdarsky in a Garfield suit!

– In case you super duper loved Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” they have now launched a new merch line for superfans. So, you know, in case you want a S.H.I.E.L.D. t-shirt, you can do that now.
