Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Topless Robot has a list of the five worst and five best status quo changes in comics, and I have to say, they’re both pretty good lists. It’s pretty hard to disagree with what’s going on there on their lists. Check it out.
– Evidently there is a big Entertainment Weekly interview with Joss Whedon coming out, and Whedon in the excerpts they are running on their website talks about how “appalling” he found the ending of “Empire Strikes Back” (his reasoning is sound) and shares his very hipsterish opinions on “Twilight” compared to his much loved “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” TV series.
– Marvel’s series “Venom” is set to end with the 42nd issue, but Flash Thompson – the lead – is set to appear past this book in “Superior Spider-Man” and potentially others according to Marvel. Never was a big fan of this book, but so long Venom. Best of luck in the symbiote in the sky.
