Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Generally speaking, I’m not big on the crowdsourced justice these folks brought to the doorstep of Allie Conti of the Broward/Palm Beach New Times Newspaper, but man, this girl really seemed to bring it upon herself to a degree. Conti wrote an article in which she called PalmCon “probably the most depressing comic book convention in history” (she even titled it that), disparaging cosplayers and retailers at the event even though she more or less admitted to going there to make fun of people and having no interest in comics herself (not to mention the fact that this was her first comic con, so what cons does she have to judge it against?).
Of course, the folks who went after her were overly aggressive, and while she did bring it upon herself to a degree, they a) brought more readers to the article and b) were bullying her pretty bad. The paper took the article down and apologized, but all in all, it’s another ugly situation that saw neither side looking very good when it was all said and done. [Bleeding Cool]
– Greg Rucka and Ed Brubaker respond to the news of a “Gotham” TV show being picked up, given its seemingly close nature to their DC title “Gotham Central,” and given how cool those two gents are, it’s unsurprising that they took it so well and fairly.
– Are you looking for more hot Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. action? Well good because Marvel/ABC has now announced a companion digital series called “Declassified” that takes a look at the previous episode in humorous fashion. More over at Comics Alliance, but it looks like a fun addition to me.
– In case you were wondering what kind of book you were getting into, Sex Criminals #1 had its release party at a strip club in Toronto. Based off reports from the party, it got cray.
