Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Speaking of Marvel Films, Ben Kingsley let out word about some secret project he is working on. “It’s a secret Marvel project. I’m not allowed to say any more, you’re going to have to wait and see.” He also added that “many members of the crew that were involved in Iron Man 3,” and perhaps that is hinting in the direction the project might be. A role in the Avengers sequel perhaps? Who knows, but as per usual, the excitement around Marvel Films are palpable.
– Over at Hero Complex, cousins Jillian and Mariko Tamaki talk about their beautiful looking upcoming graphic novel “This One Summer”, and before this interview, I truly hadn’t heard of the book, but now I am incredibly excited. Read the interview, and make sure to put it on your must read list for the future.
– Matt Fraction shares index cards that fill in the blanks on the order of events in issues #8 through #13 in Hawkeye, and as a fan of the book and Fraction, it’s cool to see something like this.
– The Washington Post’s Comic Riffs blog has started its Best Books of 2013 list, and the first book noted? “March” from John Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell, and they talk to Powell to help celebrate.
– Villain Bar in Brooklyn is having a TMNT centric party, where people can try out for the Foot Clan. I have literally no idea what exactly is happening with it, but I want to go to there.
