Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Yesterday, Greg Capullo was upset with New York Comic Con about not getting his eldest son into the con (when he’s a featured guest), but ultimately it was resolved when NYCC took care of him (and presumably his son). It’s an unfortunate thing to happen, but its ultimate resolution supports my thoughts that both Greg and the people who run NYCC are total pros who are freaking awesome. Greg in particular was a complete gem at last year’s con who made my 4 Color podcast co-host Brandon Burpee and I’s con by recognizing us as we got out of an elevator. I’d support that guy no matter what after that happened.
– Francesco Francavilla continues to build up to the final episode of “Breaking Bad” with his follow up pieces to the recent episodes. Robot 6 collects those pieces, and if you like Breaking Bad and comic art, I suppose you might want to keep a look out around these parts soon.
– In an interview with USA Today, Ed Brubaker said he was blown away by the script for the upcoming “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” sharing that he’s shocked by how perfect everything in regards to Bucky, The Winter Solder himself, is.
– Ales Kot shared a variant cover to Zero #2 from artist Christian Ward and designer Tom Muller and, good god, this thing is freaking amazing.
