Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Happy Winter Soldier teaser day! Today brings the full teaser, but even this 10 second teaser that Marvel posted for Captain America: The Winter Soldier is freaking badass. I WANT IT NOWWWW!!!
– In an interview with Black Tree TV, Kevin Feige (who is all over the damn place lately) said that a Black Panther movie isn’t just an idea they have, but something that is actively in development. As someone who digs T’Challa, that is extremely good news and something that I really do think could and should work as a movie. Here’s hoping we hear more soon.
– While we know that both Pretty Deadly and Velvet sold out of their print runs already, we had no idea what the print run could have been. Bleeding Cool suggests that they both had runs of 57,000, which is an amazing launch especially given that they are assuredly underestimated due to their returnable nature. In short, WOW. Congrats to everyone involved, because that is a hell of a thing.
– Dark Horse Digital has an amazing, astoundingly great deal: you can now purchase every issue of B.P.R.D. for $100, or less than $1 per issue. As a massive fan of this book, if you haven’t read this, I could not recommend it highly enough.
– Pere Perez has an IndieGoGo campaign to make his “Shaolin Mutants” comic a reality, and I’m going to be totally honest: I love his freaking art. This one might be a great project to support. Check it out.
– Marvel, Toei and Bandai are teaming up to create an original animated series of the Avengers for Japanese audiences in the upcoming “Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers.” New teen characters will team with a small team of Avengers (including Spider-Man) to square off against Loki. I think it’s a smart move, and will only likely help future box office for Marvel Films in that market. Plus, cool new animation!
